The Company maintains leading position in three distinct business segments: Industrial Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals and Agricultural Products.
Industrial Chemicals Industrial Chemicals segment manufacturers a wide range of inorganic materials, including soda ash, hydrogen peroxide, specialty peroxygens and phosphorous chemicals.
Specialty Chemicals Specialty Chemicals consists of BioPolymer and Lithium businesses and focuses on food ingredients that are used to enhance texture, structure and physical stability, pharmaceutical additives for binding, encapsulation and disintegrant applications, ultrapure technologies for medical devices and lithium specialties for pharmaceutical synthesis, specialty polymers and energy storage.
Agricultural Products Agricultural Products segment primarily focuses on insecticides, which are used in agriculture to enhance crop yield and quality by controlling a broad spectrum of pests and in pest control for non-agricultural applications, and on herbicides, which are used to reduce the need for manual or mechanical weeding by inhibiting or preventing weed growth.
现我们的客户（上海）急需招聘“Senior Process Development Engineer” 高级工艺工程师 1名, 具体要求如下：
Report to: Manager of Technology Implementation
Scope
Play the role of internal chemical engineering expertise to apply advanced technology into current process to drive cost reduction and process optimization. Work closely with R&D team to develop new process/product from lab to pilot scale.
Responsibilities
1. Participate in the transfer of technology from Lab to commercial production. Involve early in the process development stage with process R&D group to ensure the process could be smooth scaled up to commercial scale.
2. Work closely with tolling plant to identify the yield improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
3. Apply advanced technology into current process to drive cost reduction and process optimization.
4. Design pilot plant program to obtain the necessary information for future startups.
5. Support startup projects as required.
6. Participate in yearly product standard cost setting and yield projections, and work closely with tolling site manager to make sure the product produced at cost and yield as budgeted.
7. Support raw material qualification through laboratory use-test and production scale trials.
8. Participate in setting up the process performance tracking system to monitor the safety, quality and economical performance on each product
9. Work closely with process R&D group for the cost estimation and project budget preparation for new process introduction.
10. Keep API management regularly updated on the progress of on-going projects through formal reports, memos and presentations.
11. Ensure that standards of safety, health, environment and Responsible Care implemented and sustained in all activities.
12. Be responsible for keeping the technology confidential and updated, to ensure that the TTP reflex the exactly what we are doing at toller site.
Requirements
1. MS or higher degree of education in Chemical Engineering
2. 6+ years experience in the fine chemical manufacturing industries. Experience with organic chemicals is preferable.
3. Strong chemical engineering knowledge, capable of engineer conceptual design to industrial realization.
4. Strong process optimization and trouble shooting skills.
5. Good chemical research and development understanding.
6. Good knowledge of process safety as well as environmental control and regulations
7. Is a self-starter, can work independently and good team player.
8. Strong in oral and written communication in both English and Mandarin
