POSITION SUMMARY
We need a Senior Software Engineer for the Enterprise Systems Support and Operations group. This person will provide timely and effective Tier-2 technical support to PeopleSoft Financial Management module (ERP) users globally. In addition, he/she will work with various groups/vendors to troubleshoot issues and ensure that new functionality is properly implemented. Also, he/she must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. He/she must be able to travel to and stay in the United States for an extended period for training purposes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Follow support process to provide tier-2 technical support for PeopleSoft (ERP) Financial Management module to global users and ensure that Service Level Agreements are met.
2.Contribute to and maintain support knowledgebase in Sharepoint for the ERP system.
3.Represent ESSO on project teams and ensure that that any new ERP functionality is properly implemented in production and transferred to ESSO.
4.Design and develop automation tools to automate parts of the ERP support if needed.
5.Provide support for other Financial Systems if needed.
Personality and Leadership Potential Competency requirement
1.3+ years of experience in supporting an ERP or accounting system.
2.Familiar with PeopleSoft version 9.1 & PeopleTools version 8.5 is an advantage.
3.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
4.Previous experience in supporting users for an ERP or accounting system.
5.Any Oracle PeopleSoft experience will be helpful.
6.Good SQL skills.
7.Some Crystal reports experience will be helpful but not required.
8.Some C#/.NET skills will be helpful but not required.
9.Excellent troubleshooting skills.
10.Good team player.
11.Strong written/verbal communication skills.
12.Strong interpersonal skills.
13.Able to travel to and stay in the United States for an extended period for training purposes.
